Glarett designs and facilitates teacher training programs in innovative educational methodologies, promotes the acquisition of pedagogical skills and competencies necessary for the 21st century, and collaborates with colleagues and educational leaders to promote the implementation of innovative practices in educational institutions.

She has a Master’s degree in Higher Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Education and a teaching degree in English, with 18 years of teaching experience. She is a National Geographic certified teacher and has recently been certified internationally as an Educational Coach by Universidad Del Valle and BOU Spain.  

Glarett has participated in several international STEM/STEAM and critical thinking programs. She traveled to Israel to strengthen her learning in the area of STEM, and has subsquently given several conferences on the subject, both nationally and internationally. Glarett has trained professionals in education for the integration and development of transdisciplinary projects, and has developed english books belonging to the Ministry of Education.

Glarett was Academic Assistant Director at an American International School in Guatemala where she developed and managed multidisciplinary projects of educational innovation, and is currently a professor of Humanities at the Universidad del Valle.
